Now in their fifth year, the Alumni Awards recognise exceptional achievements in three categories and present an opportunity for the University to acknowledge role models and thought leaders within the alumni community.

Why was the Science Museum chosen for this event?

The Science Museum are a trusted partner who we have a good track record of working with.

What sort of experience did you want to create?

A celebratory and prestigious occasion.

How did you choose which space at the museum you wanted to use?

We enjoyed hosting in the Information Age Gallery because of the breadth of exhibits available to view. The space also worked well to congregate guests for the awards presentation.

Who were your catering and AV partners? Did they create anything bespoke for the event

We worked with White Light and Moving Venue. We have partnered with them before and feel they have always delivered a high standard of service.

What feedback did you receive from guests?

  • Well organised, very friendly, and very interesting
  • The event location and organisation was excellent providing the opportunity for varied and interesting discussions on a variety of topics.
