What was the event brief & objective?
This was the first event in the Human Experience series that Identity is hosting in 2024 to showcase Michael Gietzen as an industry leader to both current and potential new clients. Each event will be focused on a specific topic that is dominating and effecting the events industry. Identity will demonstrate how each topic is at the forefront of our planning and will provide key speakers to talk and answer questions on the topics.
Why was the Science Museum chosen for this event?
The Science Museum was chosen for this event as it worked well for an intimate number of guests and was the perfect place to launch the AI and technology discussion. The museum, with it’s heritage, really resonated with the AI theme with the visuals in the room supporting data through the ages and the subject of the discussion leaning to the future.
What sort of experience did you want to create?
We wanted an intimate, informal setting which would allow for a community to be built.
How did you choose which space at the museum you wanted to use?
We chose the Smith Centre based on availability and private access to the space to give a premium feel to the attendees. Having a dedicated entrance also helped our team manage the guest experience.
How did the Smith Centre work for your event?
The Smith Centre worked well as it allowed us to have the keynotes/ Q&A in the same room as the drinks reception. Stand out features of the space included the painted backdrop, and the versatility of the area to allow the furniture to be reorganised to allow for a stage with the audience curved around it.
Who were your catering and AV partners? Did they create anything bespoke for the event?
White Light provided the stage, AV and videography and were on hand to help when needed to allow the event to run smoothly. Bubble Food provided the delicious catering and the ops manager was very attentive on the day. Additional furniture was provided by Velvet Living.
