To bring together retail and consumer goods industry leaders and experts to share their knowledge and strategies in practice for integrating sustainability into business models while driving growth and productivity.
The aim of the event was to provide a platform for attendees to exchange ideas and learn from one another on how effectively to balance economic success with environmental and social responsibility.
Why did you choose the Science Museum for your event? What were you looking for in a venue when you started planning this event?
The Science Museum is a space that focuses on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education, and it has a reputation for promoting sustainability and climate change awareness through its exhibitions and programmes. We had been searching for a space that could accommodate a diverse group of industry leaders and experts, offer flexible meeting spaces, and provide technological infrastructure for presentations and networking, which the museum was able to do.
What sort of experience did you want to create for your guests?
We wanted to create an informative and engaging experience for guests, with a focus on sustainability, environmental responsibility, and business growth. The event included keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking opportunities that allowed attendees to learn from one another and exchange ideas on best practices for integrating sustainability into their business models.
How did you choose which space at the museum you wanted to use?
We chose to use the Smith centre – a space that aligned with the theme of sustainability and environmental responsibility and provided a unique and engaging setting for the event, while also supporting the goals and objectives.
How did the Smith Centre work for your event?
The venue offered flexible meeting spaces and technological infrastructure for presentations and networking.
